Ram’s hotel is really a wonderful place. All staff is extremely nice and helpful, including Ram and his temp yoga teacher and her partner. The place itself is conveniently located and rooms have large windows with spacious balconies. Room I stayed, 101 if not mistaken, is particularly beautiful with 4 windows facing different sides and view of the mountains and the valley from the bed? Massive! There is really a lot to like about this place, the guys are very good cooks, food is lovely and very affordable and there is decent community area at the reception to sit down and hang out. Lastly the yoga shala, well equipped and the views! Backdrop of Himalayas is just breathtaking. The upper deck is also amazing to watch sunsets from - perfect view of the valley and the mountains ridge! Oh last thing… very important - mattresses are just perfect and I believe duck feather blankets, so puffy and comfortable, the sleep you get at Ram’s is top!🤓 I’m no expert to judge yoga classes, but really enjoyed the sequences Paloma has came up with, great start of the day if you ask me:)

Dhundup is an extraordinary host. Not only does he give his time generously to share knowledge of the area but also share the perspective and experiences of the Tibetan community. The location of the cafe is away from the bustle of McCleod Ganj, approximately 3km, and has fantastic views across the Kangra Valley and lake beyond. The cafe has a small but tasty menu and one of the best flat whites we have ever had. Our room was comfortable and provides very good value for money. Would highly recommend.

We had the best of experiences at this camp. We're pleased with the hospitality of the ownwers: Ashokji and Babliji treated us like friends rather than customers. The location is amazing, you can see the hill of Triund Trek, snowclad mountains, there's a trek up the camp where you'll get a birds eye view of whole McLeodGanj and Dharamshala. The owners made sure we were comfortable all the time, arranged bonfires and hot water whenever we needed and they cooked delicious himachali food. They also gave us an additional tent to give us more space. They've a lovely dog Rosy who'll play with you and follow you to make sure you're safe.
