The place is absolute value for money. Their homestay has a vibe that will make you wanna come back to Almora. Shankar bhaiya and Mehra uncle are super hospitable and friendly. They have open terrace where you can party and eat your meals just right outside the rooms. It is well decorated and lit. They also have local food available at a very reasonable price. It was a absolute delight to stay Mehra cottage.

It is a perfect place to be if you are looking amazing view and peaceful environment. I came here with my husband and with two small babies. Everything is just too beautiful about the place . The hospitality was genuine and overwhelming. Having located in a remote area, the staff comprising of locals and city-bred tried their best to serve our needs. For a couple who hardly lived in harsh circumstances ( cold weather) and life of shortcomings, it was a bliss to have encountered and adapted to them. The rustic touch to our stay was phenomenal and lived through it every bit.
