The Driftwood is a heavenly place with lovely decorated rooms, the most comfortable beds and a stunning view. We had great breakfasts and tasty dinners in the restaurant, accompanied by a nice wine selection. All the people working there were super friendly. A lovely big property in a quiet location with wonderful views. Bedrooms were large and showers were powerful and hot. Kettle with tea or coffee and biscuits in the room. Breakfast was self service with a variety of choices including cereal, hams, cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruits, brown and white bread etc extremely good value for money.

A beautiful country base to explore sligo, with beautiful views of the mountains. The property is conviently located near the main routes to the north west and not disturbed by traffic .The facilities are excellent for self catering and the hosts who live next door are very helpful in a charming way.There is a nice ambience here and we will be returning.

The location was only a few minutes by car to Collooney itself. There are two supermarkets stocking everything you need for a stay. Very easy to reach Sligo town by car. The house had enough space for the four of us. I really liked the big bedroom with en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. There were 2 tvs so everyone was happy. There’s also a utility room with a washing machine. I enjoyed walking around the beautiful garden each evening and sitting on the bench outside. Clodagh left some goodies which went down well with the kids and the wine with the adults.
