We met Nick as soon as we arrived and were given a tour of the property. It was perfect for us as we were in Slane for a wedding. Nick offered to drive us to the wedding as well as the get-together the night before. That was such a kind offer ! We just stayed the night, but we will be back.. Nick and Sandra left us a basket of breakfast / treat items, including eggs. This was very much appreciated and a total surprise. The apartment was cozy, clean, and comfortable. It had everything we needed . Thank you for a wonderful stay, Nick and Sandra.

Beautiful restored guest house. Rooms were large and decorated perfectly in line with age of house with modern facilities. Liked there were no hosts present but if you needed anything you could go across to coyngham arms hotel.

Very comfortable rooms on a Farm near Slane. I'm sorry we haven't spent more time there as it would have been a pleasure. We've used the accommodation as a last stop on our Ireland road trip before leaving for airport next morning. If you're booking this apartment, it's worth staying a while too! Would gladly come again.

An unforgettable stay – authentic Irish hospitality at its finest We stayed in the main house in a beautiful, spacious en suite room that was cosy, peaceful, and completely silent—just what we needed for a restful night. I was back home in Ireland and brought my partner (who's from England) with me. I really wanted her to experience a proper Irish welcome, and Michelle and Arthur absolutely delivered. From the moment Michelle greeted us and showed us around, we felt completely at ease. From the moment we drove through the archway entrance we were in awe. We were greeted by Michael who walked us through to the mustard drawing room for plunger coffee and tea cake. Michael was happy to answer all our questions on this simply beautiful 1740s home, exquisitely furnished over many years. We stayed in the large four poster bedroom, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was in a closet, so quirky. Breakfast was excellent and served in the beautiful dining room with all the finery you normally see only on display in cabinets. Michael provided us with crockery so that we could sit in the alcove in the beautifully maintained gardens and enjoy a takeaway meal. A midday checkout was very welcome. We enjoyed every moment in this lovely home with charming hosts.
