The accommodation was very clean and cosy with a bonus of a heated duvet which made the sleeping so enjoyable. I especially appreciated the home-like, family-like feeling which was thanks to an amazing host lady Margaret. She was so welcoming, warm-hearted and helpful, always there to make you feel comfortable and cared for. Thanks Margaret a million, I would always love to come back again!😊

Great location nice and peaceful my grandson loved thst he could fish right outside the front of the house and we enjoyed sitting there looking at the water and the ducks. Every day weather was beautiful when we stayed

I recently stayed at Kathleen’s Carrowkeel Cottage, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The cottage itself is a beautiful blend of traditional farmhouse charm and modern interior comforts. Nestled in a peaceful, quiet area, it offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house is super clean—everything was spick and span, with no unpleasant smells in the kitchen or elsewhere. It’s very well designed, with comfort and coziness clearly in mind. From the layout to the thoughtful furnishings, it felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights for me was the view out the back—two majestic horses in the backyard and a cow farm just beyond, adding to the unique countryside feel. It was a different experience waking up to the sights and sounds of the farm, which added a lovely, authentic touch to my stay. While there is no Wi-Fi at the cottage, I was able to get a good 5G signal in the kitchen, so staying connected wasn't an issue. Overall, Carrowkeel Cottage is a lovely place for anyone looking to relax in a serene environment while still enjoying all the comforts of a modern home.
