The location is beautiful- the air is so clean, the views and surrounding countryside are lovely, and it is truly quiet.
It's a short walk to Macreddin Village for food, and makes accessing south/central Wicklow really easy.
The price was good for such a big room. Not all places do reductions for singles and some places are hugely overpriced.

So convenient for wedding reception in Brooklodge McCreddin Village. Only a short drive back to hotel after reception.

Aughrim is a picturesque and peaceful village close to nature in the heart of the Wicklow mountains. The hotel has a long history but despite being 'old' the shower and facilities were up-to-date and functioning. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Loved our stay! We were there for a wedding at Brooklodge and Mccreddin village and it was very convenient. Lovely breakfast and Margaret and her family were all very welcoming!

Ideally located for enjoying the Wicklow countryside. Historic property, with character, not just your normal faceless b & b. We only had toast and tea but the breakfast looked great. We were still full from a meal in the Italian at Macreddin Village nearby

The friendliness of the owners. They could not do enough for you. Margaret and Michael go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's like a home away from home. Lovely peaceful place in the middle of the Wicklow countryside. A 2 min walk from Macreddin Village complex
