Holiday Rentals in Ballyconnell

A spotless room on a beautiful spot, close to Cavan town & other small villages 5' away driving. The hosts were extremely kind & friendly, as well as their furry friends. The bed was extremely comfortable & the room was spacious and with nice viewings. High recommendable Irish breakfast!

Location is a few miles out of Ballyconnell so definitely need a car to get around, however taxis were very easy to get so no issue with location. The cabin is beautiful, so cosy & homely with plenty of space. Beds were comfortable, cabin was warm and clean and the host was so friendly and helpful. The scenery around is beautiful too, overlooking the water and so peaceful.

Million thanks! Very friendly despite my late chek in! Everything was available what you could wish for! The bed was absolutly comfortable and the conservatory is my absolute favorite place! The kitchen is equipped with everything for self-catering. Michael is a Super host, always available and very uncomplicated. I will gladly come again

What's not to like? I was genuinely so surprised by Riverside and for all the best reasons! We were greeted with the warmest welcome and given a tour of this truly magnificent property. It oozes character and the owners have very tastefully decorated every inch of this beautiful home. You can tell a lot of time, thought and effort is put into the upkeep. The grounds are stunning and kept so clean - I don't think you could ever get sick of the views. The house itself is absolutely spotless which is testament to the hard work the owners clearly put in. Our room was one of the "older" rooms which we loved as it was like stepping back in time yet we had all the amenities needed - a lovely warm shower, huge comfortable bed (an extra bed in the room too!), a kettle and tea/coffee, a hairdryer and a TV. You have access to a shared fridge and there are irons and ironing boards on hand if needed. The room was immaculately clean and the perfect place to relax and get a fantastic night's sleep. Breakfast was genuinely the best I have ever had in any hotel/b&b - the homemade bread is divine! The most special part of Riverdale however, is Patricia. She is warm, welcoming and just an all round lovely person. We thoroughly enjoyed her company and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful weekend, so much so we booked to return before we left. I genuinely cannot recommend this place any higher. If you want to completely relax and unwind in the most amazing surroundings only a very short walk/drive to a beautiful village, you won't get better than Riverside Farm B&B. Don't think, just book.

Excellent stay. Lovely hosts. Fantastic location - central for everything, fishing, walking, etc. The village centre is only a short walk away (15mins) which has everything you'd need. Apartment was safe, secure and fully equipped. Highly recommend.

The house was so comfy and warm. The area was so peaceful and beautiful. And, oh my goodness, the beds were soooooo comfortable!It was exactly what we needed. Couldn't have asked for more. We were on a crafting holiday, and we crafted and laughed on repeat for the week.

I wanted to immerse myself in the Irish countryside and I wanted to have some rest and quiet reflection about ancestors who came from this area as well as to go to Dublin for the day to see a friend and go to the theatre.

Veronica was very helpful when our plans changed slightly and could not have been more helpful. We had Tea, Coffee, Milk and biscuits left our for us and they had also lit the stove to ensuring that the property was nice and cosy. Excellent hosts!
