The authentic balinese family hospitality in breathtaking rice terrace and serene jungle surroundings. A peaceful secluded retreat from the tourist areas of Bali. We were welcomed by Santi and Made like long lost friends with Gede always ready to inform us on life and culture of the nearby village people. Five attractive bungalows are spread out throughout the large property assuring privacy and beautiful views of cool greenery and pretty rice paddies. The small open restaurant was a casual spot to linger and be amazed at the breathtaking view. I would definitely recommend two or three nights there to experience this unique opportunity.

Putu en Nengah are really nice people who do the daily operation of the home stay. Putu organises al the trips you want to go to and joins you as a very good guide. Tells a lot about nature, plants, fruits vegetables. Nengah is the cook who makes really nice en tasty dishes. Gives you a nice workshop in making offerings. The temperature is perfect.

Everything was amazing! The staff are so welcoming, helpful and warm. The food was all freshly prepared with love. The breakfast overnight oats was delicious. So nice to wake up two mornings in the tranquility of the rice paddies and be able to step in and walk about there. I had a massage and it was also so great. The swimming pool was perfect for a dip after trekking the rice paddies. But no need to even go to Jatiluweh as the rice paddies at the hotel are so beautiful Thanks to Ellen and her team for a beautiful stay.

The room in which we slept was decorated with a simple , elegant design. The doors were made of fabulous wood and let to an outdoor bathroom with a beautiful shower. We had our own porch and looked out onto a beautiful garden. The property is large and so quiet/peaceful. The main area with the kitchen was built and designed by the owners and it just breathtaking. Again, simple design but perfectly Balinese. There are lots of spaces around the property to lay down and relax.

    Amazing location in the middle of rice terraces. The place is just amazing if you are looking for a peaceful environment. The accommodations are comfy and the view is amazing. Our hosts were the nicest and most friendly people, they even gave us a tour of the area. They drove us to the village to buy things we needed and cooked delicious food for us for dinner. Thank you so much 🙏🏼

    Wonderful location with glorious view over rice terraces. Hospitality offered by Gede was outstanding as all logistics for trekking and transport by motor cycle and car were so quickly and easily arranged. Breakfasts and dinners served were delicious and nutrious. Local people I met on my walks around the village were so welcoming. Bungalow's decor including the bathroom was great, so clean and so comfortable.

    Loved the mountain spring water from your water vessel,no plastic water bottles needed yeah.less plastic in Bali the better there is still way too much on side of roads & everywhere need to start educating people even the small villages😩 The peacefulness is beautiful & the family.

    Absolutely amazing place with a unique charm. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment. The views are breathtaking and watching the sunrise starts your day perfectly. We went to visit the Jatiluwih rice fields, hiked Mt. Batukaru, explored nearby temples and always went back to relax in this beautiful villa, to have their excellent tea and tasty food. The staff is great and carrying. Thank you for a fantastic time!
