Our return to Vár Camping marked our second venture into this enchanting place. It might not be a five-star resort, but it sure gets the job done, and the staff's friendliness is off the charts. Oh, and that hillside restaurant? It's a hidden gem, and I'd wholeheartedly suggest indulging in a meal there.

The hosts were super friendly and helpful, the apartment was really well equipped, the pool and spa were excellent and we're the reasons we booked the property. We hope to come back and spend more time in the area.

Beautiful tradition Hungarian villa located in the middle of the Eger town - very quiet and cosy and even having mini kitchen facilities .Good value for money. 2 mins walk to the Castle, Main Street, Supermarket, Cafe and restaurant. 5 mins walk to the local town market and shops. Breakfast included. The Foter Caffe restaurant nearby was recommended by the owner is wonderful - Jokai Bean Soup and Steak with Fors gras are the best!

We relied on the high rating on Booking and were not disappointed. Fine value for money, wonderful host, operational AC, nice balcony, friendly cat, a bottle of wine as a present. Very quiet, only natural noise, no traffic in the area. In principle, everything as mentioned in other comments. And Eger turned out to be much more interesting than we expected.

The room was small but cozy, confortable and clean. Not big enough for three people, but perfect for two. Eszter is supernice and friendly. I will likely book here at my next visit.
