The amazing quietness, the authenticity of the furniture, doors, the details, the smell of the sheets and towels, the balcony , the location for our interest ( the Apocalypse Cave ) , the singing of the birds , the cleanliness, the view, the privacy. This is truly my home away from home! Sparkling clean and functional furnished rooms/studios in best location, just outside the city centre with amazing view of the harbour. Nearest beach is 8 minutes walking from the studios, 5 minutes to a very well stocked supermarket and veggies and fruits shop. The nearest taverna is about 200m from the studios and serves great food at very good prices. Studios are located in a peaceful surrounding, overlooking a beautiful garden. What really makes the difference is Nicolas and his family. From the moment we arrived, he took great care of us, driving us to all the unforgettable places Patmos has to offer. He and his lovely wife offered us homemade food and products from their garden and fresh eggs from their own chickens. I must admit, I have never experienced such a amazing hosts. They do it because they really care about the guests, this is not just another accommodation, this is family! I already miss them.

The suite is pretty great and well decorated, it has everything you need, staff are helpful and friendly. They picked us from the port, which is not in Skala but close to Skala. They gave some treats when we arrive. I definitely choose the place if I visit Patmos again!

Everything was perfect. Dimitris met us by the harbour and followed us the short way to his old house, which was incredibly charming, beautifully restored in original style and decorated with old items and fabrics. A separate tiny kitchen building was equipped with everything you could need to make breakfast or dinner and even equipped with local produce like fruit, wine, honey, yoghurt etc. We got the room with a roof terrace, which was very nice in the evening. There was also two places to sit in our own, private courtyard, so we could escape from the sun. A unique combination of old style and practicality. A perfect stay with fantastic hosts!
