When the ferry arrives late after midnight to Patmos-one of the 7 most important warship destinations in Europe- the local GR-land lady Maria sending a polite clean taxi for the guests really opens "Doors to Revelation" driving to the high standards of hospitality up the top quarter of the island: Incredibly quiet place with filled refrigerator (water & snacks) as the sunny September morning proves that there is only a fresh bakery next to the near emblematic monastery. Discrete facility owner Maria reacts imm. on facebook and internet even when another taxi or public buses' schedule is needed. Sea view maniacs may easily drink Maria's generous coffee & tea deposits at the small table just outside the flat as the street is absolutely empty second half of September.

We had a wonderful stay! Katerini gave us a warm welcome with wine and sweets. Even though the official check-in was later, we were able to access our room around 11:30 AM. The highlight was definitely the terrace view and the short stroll to the beach and taverns. It’s the perfect spot if you prefer not to walk much every day and enjoy a quieter atmosphere. Plus, the bus stop to Skala is conveniently close if you ever want a bit more activity. The room was cleaned daily, and even the dishes we left for later were washed while we were at the beach.

The amazing quietness, the authenticity of the furniture, doors, the details, the smell of the sheets and towels, the balcony , the location for our interest ( the Apocalypse Cave ) , the singing of the birds , the cleanliness, the view, the privacy. The management and staff at Nicolas Studios were exceptionally hospitable and friendly. Very comfortable beds, clean room. Lovely garden and seating area to enjoy fruit and coffee from our hosts and share with other guests. The room and grounds were exactly as described so there were no surprises, all expectations we had were either met or exceeded :) a lovely comfortable place to stay in Patmos.

The suite is pretty great and well decorated, it has everything you need, staff are helpful and friendly. They picked us from the port, which is not in Skala but close to Skala. They gave some treats when we arrive. I definitely choose the place if I visit Patmos again!
