We had the pleasure of staying at Vila Mastiha in Komi, Chios. The house is walking distance from the beach and in close proximity to cafes and restaurants. What truly made our stay exceptional was the host. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and checking in periodically to see if we needed anything. The location is ideal for beach lovers, with the beautiful Komi beach just a short walk away. It’s also a great base for exploring the south of Chios, with several picturesque villages and attractions nearby (such as the Mastic museum, Armolia, Pyrgi and Mesta). Overall, Vila Mastiha is a gem in Komi. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing beach holiday or a cozy retreat to explore Chios, this place is perfect.

The hotel was impeccable, breakfast was delicious and slightly different each day, the pool was perfect, and the owners are two of the loveliest and most helpful people you could ever meet. The location is amazing: five restaurants literally within a stone's throw of the hotel and a wonderful black pebble beach about 400 metres away in the next bay. If you don't mind a bit of an uphill hike, there's a really interesting archaeological site on the hillside overlooking the bay.

Everything! So unique stylish apartment! Very close to the main square with few restaurants. Quiet during night, only after 6-7am local traffic starts.

Do yourself a favour and book here! The host Yiannis is very kind , accomodating and nothing too much trouble for him. The property is amazing with many places to chill, pool, donkeys, friendly cats and organic grapes that you are encouraged to pick and eat whenever you want. Car park space which you will need a car if you want to see all parts of the island or take a bike for the day from the property no charge and roam kampos to see all the amazing houses , mosey down to the citrus cafe for a home made lemonade. Close to the airport and the port. Room is cleaned daily.

Hosts are fantastic. Very, very, very kind and smiled. That's exactly what those people who deal with tourism have to do. Eleni gave birth to her daughter Chiara :-))) while we were guests, but she was at our disposal the whole time (!) All congratulations and a big greeting to them. The accommodation is excellent, the pictures match the description completely. Good WiFi, big TV, plenty of parking, great beaches 15-20 min minutes by car. The apartment is fully equipped with all the details needed for a longer or shorter stay.

Our host, George was very helpful, warm person. He welcomed us with little sweets and great smile. The room was very clean and new and has a great sea view. George offered us upgrade our room with no extra charge but we already loved our room. The hotel’s location is near to the center and other villages by car. We found a restaurant for dinner on the internet but we couldn’t make a reservation, so George called the restaurant and made a reservation for us. My husband and i thank George and next time we come to Chios, we’ll definitely stay here again.
