Home suites was perfect in every way for our .family. Eleni is a lovely person and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. My son had a cough and Eleni offered to go with us to the pharmacy to get some medicine for him, and later in the day she came to see how he was and brought a thermometer and some mountain tea and honey to help his recovery. Home suites has everything you need and more full size cooker fridge freezer lots of pots and pans, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, hairdryer tv and internet Lots of Indoor seating and a partly covered outdoor seating area within a large balcony I would recommend staying here if you want to explore crete as its central but most of all because Eleni makes you feel like part of the family this is by far the friendliest place i have ever stayed in the whole of greece 🙂..

Everything was nice. The managers are great people, very professional and always available to assist and help if needed. The location near the sea and the city center but very quiet, also great for exploring the area. I higly recomend this place. I would like to thank you Andreas and Janna once again for your hospitality, and of course for the excellent olive oil that I will be happy to consume.

- location: a few steps away from the main street, and only a few more to the beach - room: big room and really nice and comfortable balcony (with a drying rack which really comes in handy), towels and linen changed every other day - staff: really nice and accommodating - next to the entrance there’s beach umbrellas, balls and similar stuff available for anyone to take and use for the day - breakfast/dinner: buffet-style at the Central Hersonissos hotel across the street; plenty of options and the food is okay Raki, fruit and water were waiting for us in the fridge which was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay at Diamond Apartments & Suites, and we have absolutely nothing bad to say, everything was great!

When we arrived, Iaanis was already there to meet us with the keys. He showed us around the flat, showing us how everything worked, including the safe, air con, etc. He let us know that we could contact him at any point for any help or anything we needed. The flat was extremely secure with a full alarm system available to use. When we were struggling to get back into the flat on the first night, I messaged Iaanis, who rang me within 1 minute to talk me through how to open the door. The flat has been refurbished to an extremely high standard with all the facilities you could ever need. Iaanis even let us stay later on our final day as we had a late flight and there were no guests the following day, which was so so helpful! Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely return!

The house is big and it has all what one needs. You can watch the stars in the evening from the terrace upstairs. Many cats in the surroundings are well taken care of from people of the village (much appreciated from my children!). The owner brought us some fantastic grapes. It's in the mountains, so it's not hot in the evening and perfect place to relax after crowds in Stalida or Malia. Convenient also to visit Heraklion or Cnossos, about 30 minutes by car. When in the village follow the signs to the Gorge, the house is soon on the left after taking the road towards the Gorge from the Church square. You can park just outside the house entrance.

Good location, parking, washing machine, dishwasher, iron. It's 5 minutes by car to Lidl, but there are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, right on the beach, so the location is good. The house itself is big and comfortable. The owner is very friendly. The jacuzzi in the yard is a good bonus for the night chill.
