The house was very clean and stylish. Wi-Fi was surprisingly strong given the location, which is a big plus when you want to keep children entertained! The owners made a very good effort in renovating an old traditional village building to a comfortable holiday home. They should also be commended for the little details in decoration which were very elegantly chosen to match the ambience of a beautiful village. The house has two verandas with trully stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the slopes of Mt Pelion. I can safely say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we would have booked for a bit longer.

Perfect location for those, who want quite rest in beautifull beach among the hills. Seashore is in 1 minute access from the room. Nice hotel, well equipped. It is not super modern and luxury, but brings you to warm and authentic atmosphere of greek lifestyle. Owner is a really good man, very hospitable and willing to help you.

I booked at Seaside Apartments for my father to stay there for a week. He has an injured leg and can't walk much. Antigone and her family were wonderful to him, bringing him food and groceries every day. The apartment was clean and very stylish, and very close to the sea. He had wonderful stay and was blown away by the host's kindness.

This is a good stay close to the beach. It makes for a good base to discover the surrounding area if you have a car.

Xantha is great for two reasons: the stunning view of the Pagasetic Gulf, the mountains and Volos; and the really wonderful lady who is now running the place (and who also speaks very good English). One should take into account that the road up is steep, narrow and at some places winding, not an easy one, and it's best to have a good engine, but it's well worth it for the view from your little balcony and the friendliness and generosity of the hostess: who not only invited me to eat as many of the ripe figs from the trees as I possibly could, but even paid my bill with the dinner delivery man (you can order food up) since I was in the shower!... As well as your own balcony, there's also a verandah off the drawing room with its own view of the Gulf, and the outside patio sitting area is especially nice. There's an open bar in the main drawing room of the hotel where you can make yourself herb tea from a varied selection, or of course coffee. So unless you would find the drive up difficult, Xantha is very highly recommended!

The location of the rooms were ideal in the center of Portaria. There was public parking in 50 m. Very clean rooms with a nice view on the main road.
