    Set in a beautiful rural village, a really lovely country inn. The staff were friendly and helpful with interesting knowledge of the history of the inn, giving us some interesting facts to investigate ourselves. The room was clean and well-appointed, still retaining some of the original features. The bar food was of good quality and well priced. Breakfast, had a good selection of items available. The full English breakfast was freshly cooked. The ingredients were of good quality, which can make all the difference to a meal.

    lovely village location. we had a small double which was compact but it had everything we needed including lovely fluffy robes. Bed was comfy too. The food was excellent especially the freshly cooked breakfast.

    I was there on business and found the room extremely clean and tidy, and the wifi was excellent. The cooked breakfast was very nice. Cowpers Oak is in a beautiful village so the location is perfect.

    Picture postcard village with a pub that matches. Breakfast was good and the parking secure. Lovely garden to the rear of the pub ideal for children. We arrived on a Sunday so were not able to dine in the evening., The stairs to the first floor are steep. Anyone with mobility issues should be aware.
