Don’t know how to start. The staff including the Silvia (manager), drivers (Ahmed and Mohamed), chefs, etc were AMAZING. They were honest, super helpful and kind. Never experienced this from a place and having travelled to many places. Recommendations were honest and tours at excellent prices and super well organised. The location is also great. While not at the city centre, you get to be close to the Salt Lakes and other attractions. This area is better than the city centre. The mountain nearby offers an amazing morning trek for a beautiful sunset or sunrise view of the city. Highly recommend the Safari tour and Salt Lake tour. The swimming pool was also excellent. I was able to rest there in the afternoon and do tours in the morning and late afternoon. I travelled during summer and there were water and electricity cuts but this is normal for remote areas in developing areas during summer. People should be mindful that not everything is meant to be the way it is in developed countries. Embrace challenges such this as part of your travel experience. I travelled alone and it was very fitting for my solo travel needs. Thank you Silvia and the rest of the staff!

Fantastic day 1 base in Siwa, 15min walk or 20/30 egp tuktuk out of town centre well situated for an excursion to Amun Temple, Cleopatra spring and Gabal Dakrur sunset/sunrise mountain. Ahmed and his young family made it easy to checkin early after our Cairo nightbus, to do laundry and to plan excursions to Salt Lakes, hot springs and a desert safari. House is newly built with love and taste hence better standards than most other older guesthouses with a great bathroom and warm showers, breakfast was great boost too to start a day of explorations!

Friendos house is a great get away from the city noises and perfectly located between dessert and farms. It offers a private hot spring and a family vibe. It's typical siwa style, simple and quiet. - the best breakfast we had in Egypt! - nice and clean room. Hot water in a shower - Internet connection - kettle, tea, coffee in the room - very helpfull owner who arranged for us the safari (didn't charge any extra fees for that) and I would recommend you to do it with him because we had a crazy drive on dessert dunes which was the best fun :) All staying was relaxed and perfect - thank you!

It is a very good choice for people who like forests. In the afternoon, the sun shines on the tent, and there is a shadow of a fig tree, which is very beautiful.
