A short weekend business stay; wanted a warm, clean, quiet and convenient sanctuary, which is what we got! Loved the attention to detail of the manageress, as well as the overall atmosphere of this historical building (a former fire brigade station) refurbished now to modern standards. Also enjoyed breakfast in the cozy dining room. If I ever visit this part of the country again, I would definitely go back there.

Breakfast was one of the highlights: made with fresh, local products and served in a way that shows care for both quality and atmosphere. What makes this place unforgettable is the owner. She is one of the kindest and most attentive hosts we’ve ever met. Thoughtful, discreet, and genuinely dedicated to her guests, she makes sure everyone feels welcome and at ease, without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to experience that level of hospitality. She clearly cares about her guests and the experience they take away from their stay. We spent just a short time here, but it was enough to know it’s a place worth coming back to. Not for entertainment or high-end service — but for space, quiet, and the feeling of being genuinely welcomed.
