A very calm and relaxing spot in the middle of the nature. Markus the host is very welcoming and offered to cook dinner on both of our evenings, which was very delicious. We enjoyed spending time at the Hacienda together with his super cute dogs, swimming in the pool, doing close by hikes and just enjoying the calm of the surrounding nature. Its also a great place for a visit to Manuel Antonio and to avoid staying at the crowded places next to the nationalpark. We can only recommend to stay at the Hacienda and hope to be able to visit this special place again in the future! Thanks Markus for having us!

beautiful location and building, a pool with a view on the ocean and a great bed! very kind host. The location is on a hill where we could see the ocean from the pool. The garden has a lot of animals and is beautiful. The room is big enough and has a large bed of good quality with good sheets. The bathroom has a bath. The host is very helpful and kind. Our stay in the quadruple room with a Mountain View at Esquipulas was an idyllic retreat, offering the serenity and beauty of a chalet-like setting. The room itself was well-equipped, featuring a kitchen complete with coffee and a coffeemaker that allowed us to enjoy delicious local coffee each morning. The seating area and large patio with a hammock provided the perfect spots for relaxation and taking in the stunning mountain views. The peacefulness was further enhanced by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall and the diverse birdlife, making it an ideal spot for bird watching and embracing the natural environment. The staff’s super helpful and supportive nature, along with their sensitivity to dietary requirements, ensured our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable.
