Highly recommend stay at Villa Elenita!!, initially had booked for 1 night but extended our stay as the Villa was ideal, great value , exceptional for facilities and really caring hosts, Gilberto was very helpful and genuinely guest focused, communication was clear and always attentive, the Villa has been constructed in such a practical, comfortable way and attention to detail, everything works and makes for a great stay! We booked the place last minute. The owner was responsive, kind and very helpful. In the apartment we found everything we needed. Even though we stayed just one night I can imagine staying there for longer.

Our late night arrival was no problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation is comfortable and only a 2 minute walk from the absolutely empty beautiful beach. The old ficus tree in the garden is amazing.

Markus was a great host, which is not a given in Costa Rica. The bungalow was clean, the kitchen well equipped, the beds large. I would recommend ordering dinner in addition to breakfast. The whole place is located in the jungle where you can take a great hike to the waterfalls where no one else will disturb you. So you can go for a short trip here or just relax by the pool which is big enough for swimming. One of our best accommodations in Costa Rica and we would love to come back.

Good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. There were ceiling fans in both bedrooms and in the sitting room area which was great. Good to have two bathrroms too. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you needed. The pool was 20m from the back door and there were chairs, loungers and parasols. There were even bbqs by the pool. There was a table and chairs on the veranda if you wanted to sit out.

The surf camp of Miguel is located right on the Pacific Ocean! Amazing place, they did so much things to keep this place close to nature, giving a value to simple life without wasting precious resources. We enjoyed the greatest susnset here. Except of building and making everything around the camp, mr. Miguel is offering also surf lessons! Amazing place! When arriving be aware that the road to the house is tiny and could be missed easily from the main road.
