We had an absolutely amazing time at Raw Koko Hotel, located in front of the Playa Blanca in Barú, offers an amazing ocean view. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.

This is a perfect quiet place to get away. It feels secluded but only a short drive from restaurants and other more tourist orientated beaches. They were happy to turn off any background music in the restuarant/bar area as the place was not busy at the time I stayed. Staff were exceptionally thoughtful and kind - on one occasion I was watching the sunset and they brought out mosquito spray as they knew I would get bitten. When I originally booked the room I messaged to ask if the room had a fridge which it did not. I like to keep my own drinks and snacks supplied. They went to the trouble of plugging in a fridge outside my room which was great. (I'd suggest keeping a guest fridge available ongoing at the location) Air conditioning in the room worked well and the wi-fi was reasonable but sometimes spotty depending on where you were but I never had a problem messaging people or making calls overall. On the beach seating they had plug sockets at the table areas so you could sit and use a laptop if you wanted too.

Perfect location on playa tranquila, the quieter side of playa blanca. Keep in mind that this is a popular day-use beach with no electrical connection or water mains. Electricity is provided by a generator when needed- this is RUSTIC, like going to cabin. That being said, Vista Linda was perfect. Friendly hosts, delicious breakfast and meal options, beautiful view of the Caribbean sea, and peaceful nights. Rosana and Manuel are fantastic hosts, who helped provide tours and excursions at fair prices and with charming locals. If you're looking for a rustic getaway on this popular beach, this cabana is a fantastic option.

Directly on the beach, from your terasse you can go directly to the water, choose a sea wiew room with private bathroom, you have your private free sunbeds, umbrella both on the beach and the terasse free of charge. The fan worked good. The bed was super comfortable had amazing sleeps listening to the ocean. Smokes a lot of weed and ate delicious fresh fruit and smoothies. Went spearfishing fishing and got octopus.. My skin turned a nice Brown color lounging around on the nice sun beds and listening to my audio book. They sell coconut oil on the beach
