Hospitality and the room. Its a family run guesthouse, they help you buying the tickets for the great wall, they drive you up there. Dinner and breakfast was delicious, for sure chinese. They have a espresso machine, which I really appreciate😃

This was my second time at Derunju Guesthouse. This time I cycled from Beijing via the Ansi Road, which turned out to be much easier but less scenic than the Huaichang Road. I stayed for two nights. I thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome of the proprietress and the ample and delicious food she prepared for me. I can recommend the pork roasted with chestnuts and the pancakes! The room was spacious and painstakingly clean. Fast internet is available. Great views from the terrace and a short stroll to the Water Great Wall Park entrance and downtown.
