So much better than the big cruise ship! It's a very nice big boat! I was worried that it's going to be hard to sleep at night, but the first night I slept for 12 hours! The air was fresh, the Nile waters are clean and cold. The staff on the boat was exceptional! I felt very safe and welcomed during the whole trip. The food was delicious 😋 Breakfast, lunch, dinner + tea and watermelons 😍 I made sure to buy a mosquito spray in Aswan (recommended) , but they have the mosquito nets so won't be a problem.

Nagtatampok ng mga tanawin ng bundok, naglalaan ang My Dream Nile Felucca ng accommodation na may bar at terrace, nasa 23 km mula sa Aga Khan Mausoleum. - very nice felucca, just as we expected and well equipped (mosquito net, plaide, cushion) - Ahmed cooks very well, preparing good meals and breakfasts + often offers us tea and coffee - Kind and benevolent crew, especially during a swim in the Nile (especially when there were 2 of us girls). - Wonderful scenery: we saw lots of animals and greenery, a welcome change from the big city.

Our journey wasn't just about sailing; we stopped for refreshing swims and necessary toilet breaks along the way. What truly made this trip memorable was the opportunity to interact with the locals working in the fields alongside the Nile, engaging in conversations with farmers, and purchasing fresh vegetables for use in the meals on board. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were provided along with soft drinks. This was more than a sailing excursion; it was an adventure filled with breathtaking scenery and vibrant birdlife. From dawn till dusk, every moment was a reminder of the beauty and serenity of nature, making it an unforgettable experience.

This was a great experience overall. The schedule was well coordinated for the most part, the food was plentiful, and the room was comfortable. The staff was attentive and there was sufficient space and loungers by the cooling pool. We did have to pay for tickets to enter the various ruins and temples, but we were guided through them with English speaking guides. For the early morning tour of the Edfu Temple, we were loaded on horse and buggies, which was a fun way to navigate the morning scene. We liked that Omar and Enjy were easy to reach on WhatsApp and responsive to our questions. Slowly gliding down the scenic Nile was just lovely. As far as the tours go, they varied. The best one was with Nervien, the only woman we had guiding us. She had clear English and did not rush through the information as some of the others did. She checked the comprehension by saying, OK? With a short pause, which is important for a guide in order to provide space for clarifying questions. Nervien also provided some photos to preview what we would see in the tombs and then let us go inside on our own.

A trip that exceeded my expectations in all respects. The Royal Viking offered a luxurious experience from its fittings and decor to its cuisine and the solicitous attention of its staff. Our cabin was super comfortable with great views from the sliding full length windows. The lounge and restaurant were very plush and the food was very good and varied. The staff were super attentive. The booking is with an agent, Mohammed, who organised everything for us, including our cruise and several excursions - to awesome temples en route and in Luxor, and the most magical balloon flight at the end in Luxor. Mohammed’s communication was excellent and he was responsive to every request. Recommended wholeheartedly.

It was a great experience staying in a felucca with local people. A stay in the Nile river was a. dream for me. We were able to spend good time in the river and had local food.
