Enjoy the breathtaking sunset over the Nile, the lifeline of Egypt, on the wonderful houseboat "Moon Boat" owned by Hamdy. A very special kind of stay! I have traveled to many countries, but the days on the Moon Boat were really extraordinary and are definitely worth a trip! Directly in Luxor on the west bank of the Nile with a very good restaurant on board. The rooms are cozy and clean, there is a family atmosphere on the small hotel boat with just a few rooms and you immediately feel at home. Adventurous access in the winter months as the level of the Nile is very low and you have to take a small shuttle boat across. But the precautionary measures taken by the entire crew are great. They even bring disabled people safely on board. Luxor has so much to offer, even besides the breathtaking historical sites. Life on the river, the incredibly friendly people, the hustle and bustle between antiquity and modernity. I love it! Hamdy and his family are always there to help and advise and help you make every wish come true. He organizes all the trips you want to take during your stay in Luxor, such as visits to the historical sites, trips into the desert (also a real experience with the traditional donkey cart), shuttle service, and last but not least, breathtaking trips in the felucca, the traditional Nile sailing ship with his brother Abdo Nomoer. The sailing trip towards the magnificent sunset over the banks of the Nile will remain in your memory forever. After a strenuous day of visiting the temples and the Valley of the Queens and Kings, this is the ideal end. Adam, the kitchen chef of the Moon Boat, is a master of Egyptian cuisine, it was the best meal I have ever eaten. Enjoying this on the felucca during the sailing trip and then ending the day with a shisha gives you the feeling of absolute relaxation. That's what vacation should be like! Exceptional accomodation. An extraordinary experiense. Here you will meet globetrotters from all over the world.

Love this boat! The staff was specially friendly, ready to help us solve all our needs, always on the watch, anticipating everything. The sightseeing tours were super well organized and coordinated with local agencies and tour guides. The food was varied and tasty and everything was done on a perfect schedule. All the spaces of the cruise, including the rooms were elegantly decorated, with comfortable beds, bathroom small but very functional. Super recommend it!

The Historia is I think the best way to experience a Nile cruise. Staff: - From the time you enter the dock you are welcomed with smiles from the staff and drinks to keep you cool. - Check-in was a little slow but we were very comfortable waiting at the bar lounge, once the staff were able to assist they came to us to help us check in - Generally the staff go out of their way to make you stay as comfortable as possible Meals: - The food and all meals prepared were amazing, we loved sitting on the upper deck listning to live music and taking in the stunning sunset on Nile as we enjoyed amazing meals. - Breakfast choices are vast and delicious. - The chef and his su-chefs do an amazing job everyday to give you the best possible culinary experience/. Tours: The tours provided by Historia were at amazing locations - our tour guide was adequate and knowledgable however be careful if you need to do anything extra such as seeing other locations, you must negotiate clearly with your tour guide with respect to cost and price. We had a small missunderstanding when we requested an extra visit to the Valley of the Queens (which was not part of the original tour) Room: Our room was amazing, for a river boat we had more than enough space and comfort. My only issue was it was quite close to the engines and the room isolation from the engine noise was not that good

The cruise was very nice and relaxing. All the people in the staff were super friendly and really focused on giving us everything we needed to have a great time there. Mr Sa'id organised everything perfectly, with care and attention. He was always responsive and found very good guides for our day tours. He even gave us a SIM card to use during the trip.
