Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. This place is a gem. Location is great and the staff is super friendly. We were there over Christmas and they had some special touches for guests on Christmas day (decorations and special breakfast). Overall super satisfied and would definitely go back if we are in the area again.

The location was perfect with a view from our balcony to the bay. The rooms were spacious and the shared common room were fantastic. The staff we exteremely kind and responsive. They gifted us a bottle of wine for the most minor of inconvenience. The breakfast box for our early morning departure was tremendous!
