In a country that is full of wonderful guesthouses, 8 Palms stands a cut above the rest. Why stay in a faceless hotel when you can stay in a beautifully appointed room full of quirky decor and be served with a yummy home-cooked breakfast? I thoroughly enjoyed everything about my stay here: the aforementioned breakfast, the high-speed internet, the solid water pressure in the shower, the kindness of the owner, and the general ambience of the beautiful property. I will happily return here when I am next in the area.

Situated in Shelly Beach in the KwaZulu-Natal Region, 1.2 km from South Coast Mall, Tropical Beach Boutique Guesthouse boasts an outdoor pool and a private beach area. It is right on the beach and the staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was amazing.

The room was exactly clean and bright as it appears on the profile . The hosts Mr Bernd and his wife were very lovey, and hospitable. I enjoyed their company.
