We had no reason to leave and immersed ourselves in the experience for several days of hiking, swimming and relaxing. If you enjoy hiking and aspire to hike the Central Drakensberg mountains, this is THE place to stay.

The rooms were very comfortable as well. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Very well taken care of and delicious dinners. Including amazing attention to detail in regards to our specific dietary requirements.

The stunning view! There is a lovely lounge area at the swimmingpool with an amazing view over the Champagne Valley! Very spacious place with fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, 2 bathrooms and large living area! The hosts are so nice and give loads of explanation about restaurants and the area.

Malachite Manor is a 4-star accommodation venue situated just outside Underberg in KZN. Breakfast was good. Portions were a bit more but enjoyed all of it. The environment was just tranquil. I am definitely recommending it to friends and family. Access from main road is very good.
