The location. My brother-in-law passed away, and I came from Virginia for the funeral. I chose this because it was the closest to their house, which is only 5 miles from the hotel. The host was very nice, helpful, and gracious. I usually stay with my sister, but at this particular time, there was no room at her house. I would definitely choose this hotel again if the need should arrive. I would also recommend it to others. Other family members that came for the funeral state at hotels much further away?

I had a very positive experience at this location. The staff was professional, courteous, and helpful throughout my visit. Everything was well organized, and I felt my time was respected. 32 km from Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, Maurrocks - A Pocono Mountains B&B is a recently renovated property situated in Mount Pocono and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi... Maureen and Tom are absolutely lovely hospitable and kind B&B owners. They went out of their way to help give us recommendations on what to do, see and where to eat. And if Tom and Maureen were busy you could always count on one of the three dogs to be there. Jax, Lizzie and Bella are absolutely adorable. The breakfast was outstanding! It was cooked by Tom and Maureen themselves and that showed. To add to that, Maureen likes to bake and had new goodies each day. It was way too much to eat everything, but lucky for us there were ‘to go’ bags. So lunch was sorted as well. On top of that there were free snacks in the common area and in our room. It was also possible to get water, tea or coffee (with about ten different cups to choose from) in the common room. I simply cannot recommend enough to stay here. You won’t be disappointed! And if you go, don’t forget to ask Maureen about the lovely earrings she makes :D

The location was great, nearby hiking and state park. The breakfast was wonderful and the owners and staff were really accommodating.
