Everything — from the rooms to the food and service — shows exceptional attention to detail. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and beautifully presented, with a thoughtful kids' menu. I highly recommend dining in — the food is worth it! A perfect, relaxing stopover. Highly recommended!

Guest rooms at Shalom Suites include air conditioning and a desk. I have been travelling for 3 years and this place was exceptional and probably the nicest place I’ve stayed. The rooms and whole place is beautifully decorated and the hotel sits amongst a spa. They also have a restaurant attached. The place is family run and you could really tell how much thought and effort everyone put into making the place what it is! Everything is perfect. Although it is located a bit further out the city don’t let it put you off because you feel like you are in paradise inside. I got a massage done, which included a sit down with the doctor to tailor the massage to my health and wellbeing :) Staff are amazing and really kind too. A big thank you to all the staff for making it an amazing stay and especially to Fara for all your help :)

A halal breakfast is available at the property and includes pancakes and fruits. A minimarket is available at the guest house. Very hearty family, took perfect care of us, drove us around for very good price and communicated very good and steady. Meals cooked by the mother were delicious. We could pet cats and dogs. It was I think the cleaniest accommodation in Sabah :) Dont hesitate to contact them even if they seem to be fully booked! They can send you more info on how to get there by bus from Kota Kinabalu.

Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy snorkelling and walking tours nearby, or make the most of the sun terrace. Everything was exceptional and exceeded expectations from start to finish. Staff was proactive, communicative, informative and friendly. Punctuality was great throughout. Location and accommodations were fantastic. Food was amazing, staff was incredible on snorkeling and island tour outings. No negatives at all. Recommend 110% and would most definitely visit again.

The units are equipped with heating facilities. Fabulous family-ryn business. They make you feel at home and couldn't do more to help you.
