Lush in Ella is a brand new venue and a true hidden gem in the middle of the jungle. Yet it is very close to the center of the town. The owner Saman and her husband made us feel very special, especially pampering us with delicious homemade breakfasts. All is incredible, the location, the very friendly owner, and the amazing breakfast!!! We only spent one day in Ella but was really a wonderfull experience.Also the place is brand new and very comfortable. Only 5 minutes from the center.

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful rooms in a quiet area but within walking distance of the main street. Rooms were beautiful and clean. The beds were comfortable and there was a good shower. The owner and his daughter were very friendly and helpful. They gave us good tips for activities in the area, helped with transport and provided a delicious homemade breakfast every morning. We would definitely stay here again!

everything was perfect! The room was spacious with a wonderful view of the jungle. The bathroom was equipped with a modern shower obviously with hot water. The owner was very kind, every morning he brought us a very good breakfast directly in front of our room and gave us many valuable tips. If I had to return to Ella I would definitely come back here!

We are very happy to be the first local guest to stay in this accommodation.This is our first experience staying at a homestay. Wingate Homestay is a perfect place to stay in Ella. It is close to the Ella town (5min walking distance) and the Railway station, nine arch bridge and Little Adams peak. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean.The bathroom is very impressive and The hot water shower is really great.The room and bathroom are very modern. Breakfast was excellent. Lunch was served very deliciously with our favorite dishes. They provided tea and coffee in the morning and evening. Fresh fruit juice are served in the afternoon.The owner has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most.The price is also very reasonable.

We loved our stay at Leisure Mount View. We booked 3 nights but stayed 4 as there was so much to do in the area and the hotel was fabulous. THE FOOD: We ate 3 dinners and 4 breakfasts at the hotel. The buffet dinner was delicious and offered more choice than anywhere else we've been in Sri Lanka. We also ordered from the menu one evening and the chicken biriyani was our favourite! The breakfast buffet was huge. On order were hoppers, toast with butter and jam, dahl, various sweet cakes, coconut string hoppers, as well as a lovely selection of fruit, fresh juices and tea/coffee. We were also offered eggs cooked however we liked. THE VIEW: Our big bedroom overlooked the incredible view of tea plantation fields and mountains. Each morning we opened the curtains and watched the sunrise. Beautiful. THE HOSPITALITY: Hashan and his team couldn't have done more for us. A printed folder, which included various local activities, including hikes, attractions (e.g Lipton Seat), massages, and a cooking class, was available at the reception to help plan our itinerary. We did the cooking class with Hashan's aunty and we loved it. We also enjoyed our chats with Hashan who shared lots of information about Sri Lankan life, culture and food. We were made to feel like we were more like old friends and not hotel guests.
