This place is truly magical. In the mornings you wake up surrounded by nature, with the songs of birds all around. The family is a lovely couple with two adorable little daughters who brought us fresh flowers from the garden every day. The husband and wife are warm, simple, and genuine – something rare to find nowadays. Staying with them reminded us how happiness really comes from enjoying the little things. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Angie was wonderful and helped us with anything we needed, she booked tuk tuks and driver. The room (mountain view room) was beautiful as well, with amazing views and very clean. Breakfast was very good. Very clean swimming pool and they give you pool towels which was much appreciated.

The BEST stay in Sri Lanka! The family are so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was out of this world. So special to try so many different Sri Lankan food options, we were truly spoilt! The room was great, spacious and so clean. The bathroom was massive and had a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was fantastic too. We really appreciated the decorations for our honeymoon stay. What sets this stay apart from others is how welcomed we felt. Chaminda was always around to answer questions, organised a safari for us and even took us to a local shop in his tuktuk. It’s the perfect location, lots of restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Super close to Lion’s Rock too. We would really recommend the Safari jeep tour with Tharanga (Kindly organised by Chaminda) we had a private tour of Eco park and saw so many elephants it was incredible! For a really great price too. Tharanga was lovely and knew exactly where to go to see the elephants, he also kept his distance which we appreciated. All in all, this was our favourite stay in this amazing country and we can’t recommend it enough!

Villa Hanguk is an ideal spot if you plan to explore the Dambulla area. The owner is incredibly helpful, offering assistance with scooter or tuk-tuk rentals and organizing local trips. The villa is nestled just 400 meters from the main city street, surrounded by lush paddy fields. The beautifully maintained garden is filled with vibrant plants and flowers, offering plenty of cozy spots to relax—whether in a hammock, at a dining area, or playing table games. Being in the middle of nature, you can expect the delightful sounds of wildlife, including peacocks. It truly adds to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sri Lankan food. The meals were not only delicious but also generously portioned. I highly recommend skipping outside restaurants and instead asking the staff to prepare dinner for you—you won’t be disappointed!

シーギリヤ・ロック.から20kmのMenara Green Innはダンブッラにある宿泊施設で、庭、無料WiFi、ルームサービス、24時間対応のフロントを提供しています。ピドゥランガラ・ロックから23km、Dambulla Cave Templeから徒歩9分の宿泊施設で、庭の景色が望めます。 バスルームにはシャワーが備わります。 Menara Green... 到着前からこまめに連絡をくれ、移動に関してもアドバイスをしてくれました。バス停で待っていてくれて、バスに不慣れな私たちが乗り過ごさないよう、雨の中大きく手を降ってバスを止めてくれていました。 宿に到着するとジュースを提供してくれましたが、とても美味しかった！滞在中何度か提供していただきました。 部屋はシンプルですが十分。エアコンはないけどファンで乗りきれました。湯温も水圧も問題ないです。 朝食は毎日違ってとても楽しめました。私たちは夕食も毎日頼みましたが、全部美味しかったです。3歳の息子が辛いものが食べられないのですが、それにもしっかり対応してくれました。夕食は内容によって価格が違うようですが大体900～1400lkrくらいみたいでした。(清算時に知ったのであまり覚えていないです) 滞在中、とにかく本当によくしてもらいました。家族総出で息子を可愛がってくれたし、近所の子どもたちと遊んだりもできました。本当に家族の一員のように迎えてくれました。息子に至っては勝手に家の中にも入っていました笑 周りにはあまりお店はありませんが、少し買い物に行きたいときもトゥクトゥクですぐに連れていってくれます。非常にありがたいサービスです。 ダンブッラの次にシギリヤへ、シギリヤの次にバスでダンブッラからアヌラダプラへ移動だったのですが、往復ともインディカにトゥクトゥクの運転を依頼しました。適正価格で対応してくれます。 とにかく全てにおいて感謝しかないし、本当に誰しもにおすすめできます。
