The place was very tidy and well-maintained, giving it a pleasant and welcoming feeling. The staff were very friendly and helpful, was always ready to assist with anything we needed. The facilities were also impressive —everything was in good working order and made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Overall, it was great experience and nothing complain.

Huge clean room, whole facilities were very clean and nice shower. Hosts and house manager were super friendly and nice, including giving us a quick ride up the hill and shat9ng somw first aid stuff when I had a minor injury. Only difficulty was getting up to the place - our driver couldn't really get his car comfortably up the steep hill as the road isn't fully paved. the stairs aren't finished. I'm not sure that the property has any control over those things, though. Toilet was a little finicky - had to press flush twice for it.to stop flushing. Otherwise, a great stay, would stay there again.

The room is cozy, quiet , surrounded by greens. AC works fine. The owners are friendly and approachable. They recommend us things to do in Kandy as well as easy way to catch the train.

Flat is very equipedd and clean, beds are large and comy and breakfast is very tasty. Extraordinery views from the rooftop. If you would like to stay close to the town but away from all the noise, this is the right place for you.

From the moment we arrived, the manager and housekeeper made us feel so welcome, always ready to help and offering great recommendations for places to visit. The breakfast was outstanding—we had a Sri Lankan breakfast, which was both delicious and generous in portion. It was the perfect start to our days in Kandy. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully lit, offering a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. The bathroom was also large, stocked with all necessary toiletries and fresh towels. Everything was spotlessly clean, making the entire stay feel luxurious, yet at an incredibly affordable price. One of the most thoughtful touches was that the housekeeper waited for us both nights we stayed, ensuring we were comfortable. The manager continuously checked in to make sure we had the best Sri Lankan experience, and we highly recommend following his suggestions to make the most of your time in Kandy. With no hidden costs and exceptional service, Kandy Lotus Chalet truly exceeded our expectations. You get so much for what you pay, making it a must-stay in Kandy. Highly recommended—5 stars!
