The rooms, while simple, were impeccably clean and equipped with everything we needed, including hot showers and air conditioning. The lush green surroundings showcased the care and attention to detail put into beautifying the property. We opted for take-away dinner one evening and found ourselves so comfortable and content that we didn't want to leave. Highly recommend these guys for an unforgettable stay!

I loved a lot that the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and at any time accessible, the rooms were tidy, clean, and very spacious. Large balcony, private and quiet. The location was great too. I spent there 2 nights and it was very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious too. Definitely recommend this place. Great value for the money!

At the guest house, each unit is fitted with a seating area. 5* service! Su welcomed me with a big hug and that kidness was constant during my short stay. She brough me a passion fruit juice after my long trip and woke me up with a coffee for the safari. Her husband was waiting with me to help me catch the right bus. The room was spotless, clean and comfortable with a nice balcony.

At the guest house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The Lookout Lodge is simply amazing. It’s an oasis which has been developed with much love and care. The people running it are wonderful, the rooms are clean and stylish and the swimming pool is perfect. It’s a 5 minute walk to the (empty) beach and a 10 min walk to the turtle rescue center. It only has four rooms so it’s quiet and private. You have a unique view of the lagoon with all kinds of animals, and peacocks that love to use the roof of the lodge!

The location is perfect, just a 2 min walk from the beach, yet you feel hidden away in a little jungle paradise. Agra was the kindest host, she was so thoughtful, bringing us a fresh fruit snack in the afternoon, and always on hand with a smile to help with anything. The room was a really good size, and unbelievable value for money - highly recommend staying here!

I can't say enough great things about this homestay! They arranged our transfer from Ella and arranged a morning and afternoon safari for us. We were greeted with a delicious cold coconut water, in the coconut. We chose the breakfast and dinner option which makes so much sense because the town is a bit of a walk and after a safari all day (4:30 am to 6:30 pm) it is great to have dinner at the homestay. Both dinners we had were excellent, I think the best food we've had in Sri Lanka! They also pack a breakfast to go on your safari day because of leaving so early. When you wake up they have coffee and bananas for you before leaving. Our room was a great size, ac and hot water worked well. The owners are very kind, friendly and even drove us to the bus stop, stayed with us and made sure we got on the right bus. I highly recommend Tissa Rainbow for your stay while exploring Yala National Park, you won't regret it!

The relaxed feeling is immediate as soon as you enter the walking path and head to the rooms. Dumi and his staff are exceptional. They are very attentive and friendly and had the best recommendations. Each morning, breakfast was fresh and tasty. We had dinner there as well and it was the best meal all week. Highly highly recommend this place.

Quiet place, nice breakfast and comfy room with good hot water shower (which is not easy to have in most of places we stayed in Sri Lanka). It only takes 3-5 mins to walk to the stunning beach. We even had amazing turtle watch seeing turtle laying eggs at evening.
