The young man helped carry our bags into the room. He offered us tea and coffee. He was very polite and helpful. He did his job with heart and love. The accommodation is in the mountains at an altitude of about 2000m. In the evenings the temperature drops to about 15C. You need to wear a jacket in the evenings. The locals also wear wool hats. But this is clearly unnecessary. Double fleeces for sleeping in the room. It's good to be able to wear a blouse with longer sleeves if you're afraid of the cold. The room is nice and clean. Comfortable beds. TV in the room. Common dining area for three rooms with fridge. Breakfast was made by the hostess. It was delicious: toast, jam, butter, sausages, fruit, pancakes, jackfruit sauce on bread.

The host is very friendly and helpful in planning your activities, transfer to Nanu Oya, Tea factory or the waterfalls. Even helped out to reach the doctor when I was in need of some health care. The hotel is in a very good location, close to the city centre and just a few steps from a superb restaurant, Themparadu. Room was pristinely clean and spacious even though we were travelling as a family of four. The service is just outstanding, we had to completely rearrange our plans due to very poor weather and the manager was extremely helpful and flexible. Communication and support was amazing since the booking til we left Nuwara Eliya. We went for a drive around the town due to poor weather and the driver was a super friendly companion and a good guide, including help on the train station which welcomed us with a closed ticket office and cancelled train.
