Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU is situated in Nochchiyagama. Guests can benefit from a balcony and an outdoor fireplace. The guest house also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Staff were amazing and host was easy to contact and flexible. Location was well out of the way with an amazing lake within a few minutes walk with trials to walk also bit perfect for Wilpattu national park. Food was really nice and the room had everything you could need.

At the guest house, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Excellent location, few steps from the gate of the National Park! Room was very comfortable and very clean. Bed was super comfortable too and mosquito net provided. Air con was a welcome relief from the heat. Bathroom was also spacious and clean, hot water was great. The owner was the sweetest man, his nephew messaged to ask if I wanted dinner, I declined, but the owner knocked on my door to give me fruit and ice cream so I wouldn’t go hungry at night. So sweet! His nephew also provided me with a welcome drink and even took me on the safari. Highly recommend doing the safari with them, they were the most affordable and they really considered what animals I wanted to see and tried their best to find them. The breakfast, lunch and snacks were so good! I was very well fed! They were very accommodating to me and really put in effort to help me when my card had issues. I will definitely stay with them again.

There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Every room has a terrace with views of the garden. Our stay at Swan Lake Habarana was fantastic. Kalhara was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond—organizing a cultural evening, a great safari trip, and arranging tuk-tuks at fair prices. He helped with everything before, during, and after our stay. The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. The breakfast was also very good! Highly recommended!

At the bed and breakfast, every unit has bed linen and towels. The owners, Leo and Wanda, couldn’t do enough to help our stay go smoothly. They helped shape are itinerary and suggestions additions that were fantastic, eg Sri Lankan dance show at the cultural centre, organising a fabulous yoga teacher, as well as great safari. Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

At the guest house, all units are allergy-free and soundproof. We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Home Tourist Rest, Cooking Classes & Tours. The comfort level was top-notch — everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

Easily one of the nicest accommodations we have visited in Sri Lanka. The family running it is extremely friendly and supportive! They arranged for us a guide, kept our TukTuk secured and clean, and went the extra mile to support us during the power outage. Also, definitely join them for some dinner, it’s by far some of the best food we’ve had so far!

Featuring an open-air bath and views of quiet street, Rock Villa Relax City Resort is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Mihintale, 13 km from Anuradhapura Railway Station. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen, along with free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. the owner was super helpful, the breakfast was superb. Room was clean and the AC was working very well. Good location to explore the Mihintale temple (walking distance)

We were completely satisfied with everything. We loved the environment with all the greenery and flowers. Since we traveled by car, secure parking was important (falling mangoes and coconuts, animals, etc.), but there was no issue as we could park in their private yard. The breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. :) On request, we were provided with dinner, and if we mentioned what we wanted to eat, that was also arranged (we absolutely love jackfruit curry ;) ). The room was a comfortable size and equipped with air conditioning and hot water. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and since we spent an Advent Sunday there, they helped us prepare the traditional decorations for the occasion. We had many conversations, and they truly did their best to assist us in every way possible. This wasn’t our first time in Sri Lanka, and they perfectly embodied the hospitality, helpfulness, and kindness that the island is known for. Since we spend some time here every year, we’ve found yet another place where we’re sure to return.
