Silent airconditioning. Not cheap but worth the price because of the quality of the rooms. Extra will be breakfast 1200,diner 1500, softdrinks 300-500. Food good though. Contact with the manager only by phone, that's a pity, contact with the local family who takes care of the accommodation and food is very good, though little English.

At the guest house, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. We had an amazing experience in Wikpattu Mooklan Resort! The owner and his son were taking care of us all the time and organized a great safari! It was a full day trip at a very affordable price, We managed to see 3 leopards, bear, elefant, crocodiles, tones of deers, and many, many other species of mammals, reptiles and birds. At night we could hear a lot of animals and it was an extremely peaceful time. The food was delicious and made with love. Absolutely recommended place!

Set within 12 km of Pidurangala Rock and 13 km of Sigiriya Rock, Swan Lake Habarana offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Habarana. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Every room has a terrace with views of the garden. Mr Kalhara is very kind and thoughtful, it was pleasant to stay in his house! Breakfast was very good! Room is super clean. Big bed , clean bedclothes, normally working ac and fan, good hot water! Best recommendations, just book and stay here if it's possible🙂

At the bed and breakfast, every unit has bed linen and towels. The owners, Leo and Wanda, couldn’t do enough to help our stay go smoothly. They helped shape are itinerary and suggestions additions that were fantastic, eg Sri Lankan dance show at the cultural centre, organising a fabulous yoga teacher, as well as great safari. Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

I really really recommend Visu Villa! Ruwan is very kind and helpful. He can arrange whatever you need, from massages to safari trips. We felt like we were at home. Everyday there was a live music show in the afternoon. Food is also fantastic. Everyday we get different local breakfasts to try different things. In Visu Villa everything was amazing 😍

It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

The family who runs the place is genuinely kind and welcoming, making our visit truly pleasant. They organized an excellent tour of Annuradhapura and a good safari to Wilpattu National Park, which made our planning effortless. Each evening, they cooked us amazing curries – a definite highlight of our stay. Our room was always spotless, and the small pool was a wonderfully refreshing spot to cool down from the heat. We can highly recommend Blooming Holiday for anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay!

Our stay was magnificent. The host picked us up from train station when we arrived late from Colombo. We easily discussed anything and he also rented us scooter and booked safari tour for us for reasonable price. The room was nice and breakfast just amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone.
