The location is great — very close to the train, yet in a peaceful neighborhood. It’s also close to the airport, though the trip can take a little longer if you go by metro due to transfers. If you’re staying for a short time, this place is a perfect choice. During my stay, I was lucky to experience the Futon Daiko festival, which is celebrated only in the Sakai area. That made my trip even more meaningful!

We arrive a bit late(11pm) yet the friendly host received us with a smile. The rooms were very clean and well equiped. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.

It is about 2 min walk to the metro with close to many supermarkets and restaurants. The nearby metro allowed us to go to many locations easily by using a one day metro and bus pass. A family run with super friendly host who treated us like a friend. Any inquiry was replied very fast! Yukio and Keiko were thebperfect hosts. We definitely will stay again at the Familiar Inn if we have the opportunity to return to Osaka again. Easy check-in and out.
