I can't say anything about the Gesthouse because one day before our arrival we were moved and upgraded for free to the other place which belongs to the same owners (Volcano House). And the Volcano House was just amazing, perfect, fantastic! Huge house (4 separate bedrooms, huge living room with the kitchen, private garden, private terrace, 2 bathrooms etc.), equipped with everything what's needed, very good wifi, private parking, in the center of Grindavik. It was really great and we didn't expected that! All that time communication with the owners was even more than perfect! Totally recommend that place!

The beds are very comfy and the entire house is full of nice art. Outdoor hotel pool is a great bonus. Super clean shared bathroom, welcome coffee/tea, nice sitting area. We didn't have breakfast but I imagine it's fab. Exactly 6 minutes from KEF airport. A choice of restaurants around and a nice ocean front walk too. And a cat too!
