As the name says it is an Ashram, as that it fullfills it's role well. It is simple but all basic needs for a stay are provided. AC works well, there is water heater, there is also electric kettle in the room. 2 bottles of water were provided every day. The hosts are nice, helpful and open for foreign guests. There is no food at the asram, but at 10 min walking distance there is plenty safe for not indians options for example at ISKCON. Older Temples of Vrindavan are little but further away, 20-35 min by walk, rikshas are available usually just after leaving Asram, but be careful, some of them may demand a lot more than they should. The monkeys can be a problem as they try to steal things, but they are also quite cute, atleast the young ones and you can observe them from weranda. Definetely good place to stay for devotees or other spiritual pilgrims, worthy of recomendation.
