We also had a balcony room, which was a nice bonus! The bathrooms were especially clean and well looked after — a big plus for us. The staff are really very nice and helpful and Ramji was really nice and quite an interesting person. Not sure why an earlier guest did not like him. He went out of his way to help us. We met the owner Kakoli briefly. She was warm and friendly and invited us to stay back for Diwali celebration. The room was very clean and comfortable. Being a day before Diwali there were some cracker sounds but that was everywhere. Breakfast was excellent. We loved the in-house pets, Jazzy and the cats. The best feature was the pool. It was such a treat to have this lovely lap pool all to ourselves. The location is very close to the French Quarter (walking distance) but the approach is through some narrow roads which did not bother us. The Parking was very convenient. I will definitely be back for a longer stay.
