Everything about our stay at the hostel was 10/10. They have created a homely family vibe there. We shared meals, listened to music, and learnt about each other. The rooms are spacious and clean and building is close to all of the shops. The food at the cafe was amazing and the owners go above and beyond to look after you. We extended our stay and would have stayed for many more weeks if we could.

Great location, 5 mins walk to the beach and the river, plenty of restaurants close by, clean and quick service. Hemant the owner and the staff Varsha, Aarti and Parful were very helpful with all requests. I would certainly recommend to solo, couples and families. I was here for 5 nights.

We had the most delightful stay at Afonso. Clifton was the most gracious host and he made sure everything we needed was quickly taken care of, as well as providing great local recommendations. He has the most beautiful and well maintained garden and relaxing rooftop area.

The location was very close to the heart of the city, and the beach, once can take a good walk around and not find it crowded by tourists, the place locality is very calm and clean. The room size was big enough for 3 persons. The host is really helpful and makes you feel at home be rest assured. The breakfast arrangement was good. Much happy with the stay- surely I would stay again soon!
