All units have a wardrobe. Villa Sambal is located at a peaceful area with easy access to art workshops, cafés and restaurants. The house has a beautiful garden and lots of green plants at every corner. But the best part is Ms Herni and her assistant Lina’s hospitality. They cook delicious Javanese food and gave great advice on exploring Jogya. I feel home when I am with them.

This bed and breakfast has water sports facilities and free use of bicycles and car hire are available. Alun Alun Kidul and Malioboro shopping street are a 30-minute drive from Ada Waktu Villa, while Kaliurang is 30 km from the property. Adisucipto Airport is 10 km away. Everything was excellent. We stayed 2 nights in a family room because it was the only room left and it was huge, very clean, with a balcony overlooking rice fields. Shower and AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was simple but delicious (fruit juice, fresh fruit, cheese/egg & tomato toastie, tea). Filtered water was available to refill bottles. The owner and his Belgian friend helped us book tickets online for Borobodur & Prambanam, and also secured a driver. We were able to visit Prambanam before lunch, Borobodur after lunch, and also the two smaller Buddhist temples Pawon and Mendut. The hotel owner also booked a car to take us to the airport. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, superb service, including getting up early to give us breakfast. Would definitely stay again and stay for longer, this would be a nice place to unwind by the pool.
