This is by far the best accomodation we've been in the area. Resort style facilities without the high resort price tag or crowd. It's more expensive than a homestay but the price difference is definitely worth it if you want comfort or a beautiful accomodation. We stayed in the overwater villa and it was great, very clean, wifi, electricity, felt just like being in a 4 star hotel. Staff is very friendly, excursions great and they are very helpful with anything that you need. Reef is amazing (lots of fish, turtles, moray and occasional black tips and white tips), overall a 10 out of 10 experience.

Fellow travelers, this is an absolute bargain, trust me! Pedro is as nice as a host can be, always paying attention to the details so that we had the best experience we could. The accommodation, although not in the centre of Waisai, is not far and the porch has outstanding views of the bay. Moreover, the bed is comfortable and big, the bathroom is well equipped and the AC brings a luxurious touch compared to some of the other guest houses. In terms of the food, they serve both breakfast and dinner included in the price and they're both varied and delicious. If you want to have a beer watching the sunset, you can also buy them directly from Pedro. Finally, he rents motorbikes and happens to know all the necessary people to make the experience of Waisai truly complete. To sum up, this place exceeded our expectations and we feel that it will be much busier once more reviews will pop up, as he only opened it in August 2025.

Objekat Paparisa Homestay u gradu Kri nudi smeštaj samo za odrasle sa vrtom, privatnom plažom i terasom. Gosti mogu da uživaju u pogledu na more. Svako sopstveno kupatilo ima tuš. Words can't describe how amazing the experience was. Paparisa is a brand new, small, private and secluded homestay with the nicest houses in Kri Island by far (compared to all the other homestays). The place has five "resort level" cosy houses with ensuite semi-open air bathroom (rare in Raja Ampat), big nice comfortable beds with mosquito net, a small private terrace in each house to relax or to watch the sunset and a small restaurant to enjoy your meals (they are building a nice sunset view big restaurant which they said will be ready by September 2025). They provide towels, toilet paper and linen so no need to bring yours. They have some toiletries but better bring some extra shampoo and shower gel for your convenience. Electricity is available almost half of the day and it is more than enough to charge anything in your room! The sea is just three meters from your door so you can easily swim whenever you want. This is also very convenient for diving or excursion's pickups as the boats pick you up straight from your door to go for diving or for a trip! Also, in walking distance you can snorkel in very amazing home reefs on your own. Paparisa rents for a small amount of money snorkeling equipment and these guys can also arrange several snorkeling trips to anywhere in the area. They also have contacts around so don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need! The communication before arrival through WhatsApp was exceptional and they have helped us a lot with our planning (the boat from Waisai to Kri arranged by them and a lot more). The food in the place is very tasty and feels like home and they are willing to cater any special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan etc).

Objekat Raja Ampat Family Guest House, koji se nalazi u gradu Saonek, nudi vrt i terasu. New & very clean. Great view of the sea from on high. Nice deck to sit at. Steven, a staff member, helps with whatever you need. The drink water has a hot & cold spigot. Cold water a treat in the tropics.

Objekat Amfriwen Homestay se nalazi na obali mora u gradu Yennanas Besir i nudi vrt i terasu. Ovaj pansion ima privatnu plažu. I booked 8 days here. I went diving for three days on the Pulau Gam and snorkeled daily on Friwen. They are about a 10 mins boat ride. The Homestay is rustic. There are two beds covered with mosquito net. They are totally fine but somehow one would get in every night. It’s an island at the equator, there are mosquitoes. Also geckos! That’s part of the adventure. The room has an interior slide lock and there’s a clipping lock with a key for locking when you’re away. Honestly I never locked my place. The island seems very safe. Kids playing, most of the folks on the island are involved in tourism, though they don’t speak much English. It wasn’t an issue. I traveled solo and spent most afternoons in the hammock, reading, writing or napping. The food was amazing, delicious, the cook is very sweet and calls you to breakfast, lunch and dinner. The fresh fish is caught daily. Vegetables and rice, very delicious and all included. Large quantities. Box lunches are available if you are diving all day. Bananas are snacks. Unlimited instant coffee, tea, hot water. The island is stunning. Sunsets amazing. The reef has more life to see while snorkeling than most places (Europe, Caribbean, US, Latin America) have to see while scuba diving! I saw turtles, squid, dolphins playing, reef sharks and millions of coral. A not about cash and other fees: you will need ~140,000 to take a ferry from Sorong to Waisai. Then you’ll need 600,000 to ride each way from Waisai to Friwen (this can be divided with others, provided there are other riders.). On Waisai, you’ll have to buy a Marine Park pass and an entry pass, in total 1,000,000. So you’ll need around 2,250,000 in cash (be prepared bc the pass can be purchased online, or card but sometimes their system is down and you have to pay cash). In Sorong airport there are four ATMs, most of them don’t work well. There are ATMs on Waisai but you have to ride a motorcycle to them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The homestay owner contactes us prior to our arrival to check if we were finding our way (they also offered a taxi pick-up at the harbour) and welcomed us with open arms. The homestay has a nice small garden where we had breakfast. The owners also helped us to arrange our taxi next morning

Not only did the accommodation exceed our expectations, our host also went above and beyond to ensure our stay in the area everything we wanted it to be. I can honestly say our time there wouldn’t have been half as good if it wasn’t for Husna, she knew all the right people across the region. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, so much so I wouldn’t bother searching for any other accommodation when I eventually return.

Location was amazing, the awesome doggies, the puppy so cute.. the outdoor shower is also great and even have free soap and shampoo 👌👌 food is decent portion and served in a timely manner.. they even sang at night on the sunset deck

We spent over a week at Amoryg and had an unforgettable experience. What we loved the most: - The stunning, secluded location at the far end of Pulau Mansuar, offering a true escape from everyday life. - The incredible coral reefs just steps away from the lovely beach — perfect for snorkeling enthusiasts (sometimes stronger current but perfect for drifts) - The exceptionally kind and helpful staff, always ready to listen to any wishes or feedback and ensure a great stay. - Delicious food that catered to individual preferences, including vegetarian options, which was a real plus. - The fantastic diving experience with Vandy, an experienced, knowledgeable, and attentive dive guide, and his great team. - It was inspiring to see a place like this owned and managed by locals, creating a unique and authentic atmosphere. This is an ideal spot for travelers looking for a family-like, locally-run experience. Flexibility and understanding are key, as local conditions such as weather, fuel supplies, or occasional generator issues can arise. It's also important to note that the desalination plant might not fully meet water demands at all times, but rainwater is available upon request. For us, this was the perfect getaway, and we would absolutely love to return one day. Highly recommended!

Smeštajni objekat Gibran Dive Guest House ima vrt, privatnu plažu i terasu u gradu Kri. Osoblje objekta može da organizuje prevoz od/do aerodroma. So amazing here, we were watching little sharks and beautiful fish right under our hut, the staff were so kind and lovely, the children were great, they were catching fish along our walkway, they always said hello, gave us high-fives and fist bumps , I got given a nautilus shell by the family, so good here
