- Dimmer is a fantastic host. He picks us up his guests at the piers and answers every question you may have. - The place is well situated, just outside Tuktuk main area. - We had a room in the garden, the bed is comfortable and it is quiet at night. - Kettle and fridge in the room. - Good wifi. - Possibility to rent a scooter. There are in good conditions and with a full tank. - Good restaurant next door, for your breakfast. We'll book here again if we visit again Samosir island.

I got very sick, which is no fun, specially as a solo traveller, and the ladies at reception helped me sooooo much. The younger sister drove me to the emergency room and even cooked and fed me some rice while I Could barely move. They brought me the food to my room, and where flexible and helpful with everything. Plus, the room is in perfect conditions, with nice views to the lake and close to everything (how shower was highly appreciated)

The location was very nice and very strategic. You get the view just in front of your room. We regret that we have to leave early. Wish we could stay for another night! Staff was very helpful.

Bun, the manager is simply fantastic. He made my stay special. The room was huge, clean and had everything I needed. The balcony looking over the street was also huge. The restaurant was awesome and Bun made THE best gado-gado in the world. As a bonus my bicycle was also allowed to sleep upstairs.

The accomodation is very cosy and nice. The house has 100-years history, constructed in colonial style. It is decorated with greate taste and above all has the splendid garden with variety of plants and flowers. More over the accomodation shares a place with the museum of local Batak village and their tombs! The pearl of this beutiful hotel is their people-Incu and Riris. I liked everything about my stay here, the bed was really comfy and shower hot... Really good value for money... Mr Dong and his wife were amazing hosts and made me feel like home, we spent a lot of time together, hung out and had a good time! See you in 10 years...

Juma is a really nice place to stay. Very nice apartments (mine had a really nice balcony) with beautiful view on Toba lake. Best of staying at Juma was the owner Pino, who made me feel at home, and made an itenary for me every morning when I rented a scooter and traveled the area.
