The staff was exceptionally nice, welcoming and service minded. The quality of the restaurant was very very high, both in terms of taste and presentation. We had our best food here, and we tried quite a lot at other places. The beach was the best on the island, the pool was great as well.

There are lots of homestay around but this family are so kind you won’t regret booking with them. The price both for accommodation and food is so good you want to stay longer. For those doing the Rinjani summit, I recommend staying one night before and after your trekking here so you get to explore and rest both. At the bed and breakfast, each unit includes bed linen and towels. Amazing and authentic experience in the middle of rural Lombok with host Ozzy! We had an affordable lunch and dinner (60k pp) cooked for us every day by Ozzy’s wife and it was DELICIOUS and plentiful. We took the waterfall trek activity where we spent 3 hours trekking through remote jungle/forests to see lots of waterfalls in the area. The great thing was arriving early and beating all the crowds - no queuing for photos like in Bali. Ozzy also took us to a waterfall located just across the river from his property which was in a cave and super cool to see. The room was spacious and had good AC. The shower was strong and warm. There was a spring water pool on the property too. Ozzy was such a kind and warm person who’s laugh lit up a room and was a pleasure to spend time with! Do yourself a favour and spend a couple of nights here away from the hustle and bustle!

I had a really great experience staying at Secret Spot! The dorm was spacious, the beds were super comfortable and I loved that each one offered plenty of privacy. The staff were amazing - friendly, welcoming and always making sure everything was spotless, from the bathrooms and common areas to the dorm itself. You can really tell they care about keeping the place clean and comfortable. I wish I could’ve stayed longer and definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxed and central place!

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally helpful with recommendations for close-by restaurants, arranging snorkelling and onward travel as well as everything in between. Fabulous place to stay, relax and unwind. Everything is within a very short distance and they have bikes available to use. Rooms were perfect with comfortable beds and a lovely hammock just outside. Would highly recommend, you won’t want to leave.
