Guests can have a drink at the bar. The location was great, right on the waterfront, and I felt really welcomed as soon as I arrived off the ferry, where I was picked up and brought to the property. It was easy to sort out a scooter, trips and there's an honesty bar for beers, water and soft drinks. Also free tea and coffee. Breakfast was basic but really tasty and healthy! Fruit, eggs, juice. It was all really nice, and it's on a quieter street, just off the main road.

The staff is very nice, they helped us with some issues with the boat ticket. They offer several services with a good price: boat tour, laundry, scooter and even private transfers -which we used to go to Bromo. The location is perfect, near to the port but still in a quiet area (other streets in the island can be very noisy with scooters and mosques). The common area is very nice,specially with the dogs. The bedroom is small but there are 2 communal rooms for relaxing & also a balcony.There is complimentary water, tea & coffee. The bathroom is small with no sink, but the shower is warm when you have the knack!! It is close to many sights in Dieng & convenient for food & hiking - we spent our time exploring on foot. Fantastic value for money & a great experience in Dieng.

The hostel ia very close to the temple entrance, the reception guy is very nice and can provide info, facilities are great too (wifi, lockers, curtains for the beds, cleanliness, air con). Also, free cold water and coffee in the morning. It's a pity very little people come to spend a night in Borobudur. It's a very cute town and you can have nice walks in the rice fields just behind the temple or going towards the Chicken Church.
