I would highly recommend staying at Onar.

Paradiso features free WiFi throughout the property. Everything was great, the location is very close to the port. The bed was big and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly! I would definitely go back and recommend!

With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. It consists of elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Quiet and lovely up the end of the town. The staff were super helpful with things and even found us a yoga mat to borrow. The place was kept super clean with fresh towels everyday and housekeeping and the bed extremely comfortable. Super cute friendly cats for cat lovers! Broad street to walk up and down before you get to the alleyways.. Very easy to find. We thought it was great value for money.

The property has mountain and garden views, and is 300 metres from George Kountouriotis Manor. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The property is in a fabulous location with a lovely balcony it’s in the middle of Hydra and a short walk to the beaches/cliffs. The staff are also lovely. It’s not huge, but that’s the case with most things in Hydra and it was perfect for us (a relatively tall couple).

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. The hotel is absolutely stunning. It’s tastefully decorated in a historic style. The hotel is spotless and we loved access to drinking water for free all day. The breakfast was also one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had, coffee, fresh fruit, excellent eggs and bread. Hydra is absolutely gorgeous and this was the ideal base to explore the island. I want to come back every year!
