A little hidden gem in the Yorkshire countryside. The hall itself is enough to ensure your stay is magical, but the staff and surrounding teams are an integral part of the whole experience (the recently refurbished 1903 pub/restaurant is only a short stroll away in the village).

I'm picking and it easily met my standards. Nice and welcoming room, warm in the cold weather but not too hot, lovely spacious and hot shower, super comfy bed and quiet room. We'll be back.

The hotel is an excellent base from which to explore the Peak District National Park or Sheffield city centre. Great location, really friendly and helpful staff and a warm atmosphere. Excellent food as well !

Featuring a private bathroom, units at the guest house also boast free WiFi. Sarj was lovely and hospitable. Very informative about various tourist attractions to visit close by the location and showed me everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. He helped me get to the location of the house from the train station and back after my stay. This helped to ease my stress of having to find and book a taxi in the cold weather. Train station is also not far from the house by car which is good. I highly recommend this guest house.
