Samantha & Stephanie were wonderful host. Stephanie checked me in and I appreciate her help with booking an extra night with Old Manse. Samantha cooked a really good breakfast each morning. I really enjoyed the fresh fruit (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi & apple) & plain yogurt. She also cooked great poached eggs & cereal was appreciated. One morning I had salmon & eggs and it was yummy. I failed to mention she had nuts & dried fruit to put on the yogurt…..lots of good choices. My room & bathroom were a good size and the bed very comfortable. I enjoyed my walks from the B&B to the town centre (exploring) & taking the bus to Bakewell and Haddon Hall were fun for a day. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Set in Longnor, 11 km from Buxton Opera House, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese has a bar, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The room was great one of the most comfortable we've stayed in lovely dinner in restaurant and a good breakfast would definitely recommend this quaint place

Offering a garden and garden view, Thorndene B&B is located in Hope, 19 km from Chatsworth House and 20 km from Buxton Opera House. John was a wonderful host. He described places near the property that we might enjoy. The shower was clean and the temp and pressure were great. The bed was quite comfortable and the blanket was very warm. The WiFi was strong and there were ample outlets to charge our phones and other devices. Breakfast was fresh and outstanding! We couldn’t ask for much more.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Heathbank House B&B is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Matlock, 13 km from Chatsworth House. Absolutely stunning! Really clean and well presented very nice touches throughout the rooms Michael was the perfect host will return.

The location is beautiful and very convenient for the Whitworth Institute. I loved my cozy room, the comfy bed, the lovely, clean bathroom with the fantastic shower, the thoughtful coffee and tea amenities, the witty proprietor, Alan and his courteous, talented and considerate staff, the tasteful decor and the wonderful welcome. I'm so pleased I chose the Square and Compass and I'm greatly looking forward to my next stay. Very highly recommended!

Situated in Bradwell, in a historic building, 18 km from Chatsworth House, Lyndale House is a bed and breakfast with a garden and terrace. Katrina and Tim were very friendly and welcoming. They have a lovely cottage which was a delight to stay in. A great location to access the Peak District. Room was warm and comfortable.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the member of staff, Diane, serving and looking after guests, was bright and cheery every morning, despite starting work at 5am!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, The Bay Tree Bed & Breakfast is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Alton, 2.9 km from Alton Towers. Our stay at the Bay Tree was nothing short of excellent. Location was perfect for our one day trip to Alton Towers. A short 5 minute drive away. Our host gave us some recommendations for dinner on both our nights, which were a short walk away from the accommodation.
