The view was amazing, it was nice to have breakfast overlooking the coast and the host was giving a bit of bread to little birds so they kept flying around. The location is perfect to have some nice walks in nature without renting a car. Great distance also from the port, we reached the place in less than 5 minutes.

This Inn has such charm, it’s a wonderful choice for Lochranza! The staff were all so helpful and friendly, answering questions about bus service and sharing their local expertise. We could see the castle ruins from our window! The pub below had delicious food, and local brews on tap. The distillery is about a mile away, such a great experience!

Charlotte is a warm and welcoming host who still believes in greeting her guests personally, where so many guest houses have key codes and DIY you often don't even meet the hosts.We appreciated good old fashioned service. We really loved Charlotte's delicious home cooked breakfast. A great selection of cereals, toasts and cooked breakfast choices. The guest house has plenty of parking and ideal for the ferry and walks to Brodick. When we arrived it was lovely to find the house super and warm after a chilly rain day. We were very grateful for Charlotte's inside information regards the ferry. Our ferry had been cancelled twice due to storms which happens often. We'd already stayed an extra night on Arran unexpectedly and if our ferry was cancelled again the guest house was full and we'd have to have found another room elsewhere. By ringing the terminal directly not their call centre we discovered there was just one ferry going still on yellow alert. Valuable local information from a local is king. We managed to leave Arrran finally albeit a bumpy ride to Troon.

A full Scottish breakfast is served each morning, and a continental breakfast is also available. The position of our rooms was excellent as we were overlooking the sea. Fab
