The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was simply fantastic – a high-quality menu with delicious options made to order, plus drinks and homemade granola. Truly one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel! Our room was gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated, and every day we were treated to fresh homemade cookies waiting for us – such a lovely touch. There’s also private parking which is very convenient. We honestly enjoyed every single moment and didn’t want to leave. We travel a lot, and this is by far our favorite hotel. We will definitely be back!

The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This made the short break we had even more enjoyable. The breakfasts were out of this world and once again the staff were incredibly accommodating without being intrusive and made our stay a very memorable one for all the rights reasons.

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. With free parking and free Wi-Fi, it serves hearty breakfasts cooked to order. Guests can swim in the property's off-site pool.

Breakfasts are all made from high quality local produce, with a selection of traditional full English breakfasts or vegetarian and continental options. Everything was excellent , the setting and proximity to the town. The room and bathroom were spacious, well decorated and clean. Breakfast was first class. A very enjoyable experience and will stay again next year when in the area
